Full Stack Developer
We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team, working to improve our existing applications, as well as helping us build future products and internal tools.
Working within a small development team means that you will have a big impact on our products and services, as well as a lot of autonomy to solve problems in whatever way you feel is best. We’re looking for someone who’s really willing to take ownership of their work, and who has the confidence to trust their judgement and take ideas and run with them. The ideal candidate will have a passionate interest in a wide range of technologies, be keen to learn, and enjoy experimenting with new technologies, libraries, and frameworks.
You will need at least 2-3 years experience building front-end and back-end applications with JavaScript (TypeScript) and Node.js. We use a lot of React, so you’ll need to be comfortable working with it, along with familiarity of version control (Git). You will also need experience consuming and creating RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities
- Working as a key member of our development team to design and build new products, as well as to maintain and improve our existing products.
- Building and maintaining both front-end and server-side applications written primarily in JavaScript/Node.js, as well as PHP and some other languages.
- Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Creating internal tools that can make our team more productive and efficient.
- Working with the wider DevOps team to containerise apps and improve CI pipelines.
- Troubleshooting and debuging issues in existing software applications
- Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
- Proficient in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, PHP, and Java
- Experience with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
