How does the API work?
For our Wholesale Customers
Our API is a way for your own back-office systems and websites to seamlessly integrate with Simwood and manage your wholesale telephony account and services. The API is the preferred way to configure your Simwood services. Our portal is based on the API, and everything you can do in the portal you can do through the API in your own code. We’ve deliberately made it this way.
For our Partners
Our API allows our partners to differentiate by adding functionality on top, where many other platforms don’t allow this. Partners can really make the platform their own. From new client apps to intelligent routing and call tracking, if you can imagine it, you can build it.
We have existing partners who have built some incredible enhancements to the platform; everything from simple wall boards and scheduled reports to building their own portals and complete bespoke software solutions for medical practices, call centres, home delivery companies, and many more. Partners understand their customers and therefore can entirely match their needs by building on our API.
As a partner you have complete and real-time control over your customers, both via your partner admin portal and through each customer portal. Your admin portal allows you to manage all customer settings and invoices along with their account limits and controls.
Partners can add features, view usage, create new price plans, call tariffs and call bundles, and more. With Simwood, you can deliver an industry-leading portal designed to be entirely intuitive and simple for your customers to use, enabling them to:
