Dev Team – Software Developer

Working remotely or in our wonderful high-tech Bristol office, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team. We embrace a DevOps culture and welcome someone who is keen to advance themselves, and take on responsibility dealing with complex systems in a 24/7 growth business.

Essential skills:

  • Strong Node.js experience.
  • Familiarity with PHP (legacy code).
  • Strong confidence in the use of Git.
  • Linux administration, especially Debian.
  • Jira.
  • Docker.
  • React Native.

Desired skills:

  • SIP or WebRTC experience.
  • Experience of FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Asterisk or similar.
  • Experience of networking, esp. BGP and Arista switching.
  • CoffeeScript.
  • C++ a bonus.

Operations Desk – 1st Line Support Technician

Working from our Bristol office, you will be our customers’ first point of contact providing the amazing level of customer service they expect: prompt, accurate, friendly & efficient. You’ll listen to our customers and use your expertise and enthusiasm to answer questions about our services and triage or resolve any issues. You’ll also be asked to help out with number porting processes as well as provide out of hours support. A strong candidate will be someone who is outgoing, confident, detail oriented, and able to learn quickly whilst managing multiple priorities.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an empathetic approach
  • Strong attention to detail and be able to repeatedly deliver high-quality work
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to show initiative and interact with escalated support issues
  • Some networking experience is very desirable.

Operations Desk – Porting Administrator

Working from our Bristol office, you will be our customers’ first point of contact helping them transition numbers in and (very rarely) out, be responsible for contacting other carriers, managing tickets and liaising with our customers keeping them informed during each stage of the process. You must have high attention to detail whilst being incredibly organised and efficient. We need someone who is outgoing, detail oriented, confident and able to learn quickly.

This is a full-time position where the standard working hours are 9 – 5 Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling all porting enquiries whilst adhering to the industry SLAs.
  • Maintaining the good reputation we have built up over the years with high attention to detail and a friendly, patient approach to other porting desks.
  • Occasional overflow work with the support desk.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A patient telephone manner is a must
  • Strong attention to detail and respect for third party processes
  • A willingness to help customers navigate the porting process
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of UK Geographic and Non-geographic Number Portability would be beneficial. Regardless, training will be provided
