Comms Council UK just put out an e-mail to its members, saying one of its own has been suffering from a DDoS attack for several hours affecting its US resources and customers.

Of course, we commend information sharing and working with our peers to secure our networks and keep state-sponsored spivs and fraudulent scrotes out of our systems, and our services up 100% of the time.

However, the wording of the e-mail, and the limited number of CCUK members which have substantial US presence, is limited, so, not unlike many of the presenters at the BBC in the last week, we feel the need to say it is not us, and our systems are unaffected.

We have previously discussed some of our technical strategies with respect to DDOS, which readers may wish to refresh themselves on – and if you’d like to discuss in more detail, you know where to find us!
