Hi, I’m Niko, thrilled to be Simwood’s first Technical Support Engineer in Georgia.
Back in school, I knew my career would involve computers in one way or another, because of this I decided to pursue a bachelor’s degree in computer science. However, at 20 years old, I’m still exploring different fields of computer science to figure out what I’ll truly love doing for the rest of my life.
Being part of this growing and innovative team has been an exciting experience, and I’m proud to contribute to the service we’re known for.
Since joining Simwood, I’ve already started making an impact, and even though at times challenging the journey has been incredible so far. With my passion for technology and commitment to customer support, I’ve found the perfect environment here.
What I really appreciate about my work is the people. Whether it’s my technical team leader Jakob or my coworkers Sonny and Rashid, they’ve been guiding me through different processes, teaching me how to handle requests, and making the experience enjoyable with friendly conversations and jokes. With Simwood introducing its first office in Georgia, I’ve also had the chance to meet new friends who share the same passions and interests. One of them, Saba, happens to be from the same hometown as me, and we’ve quickly become great friends. It’s been amazing how easily we’ve been able to connect and share our experiences.
When I’m not solving technical problems at Simwood, you’ll likely find me indulging in some of my other passions. I’ve been in love with video games since I was a kid. From classic arcade games to the latest RPGs, gaming has always been a way for me to unwind and dive into exciting new worlds. I’m always on the lookout for fresh releases and immersive experiences.
I’m also a big fan of anime and animated TV shows. Whether it’s the stunning animation of Studio Ghibli films or the humour and action in shows like Invincible or Vox Machina, I love how animation can transcend cultural boundaries and explore meaningful themes. Some of my favourite shows and films have left lasting impressions, and I’m always excited to discover new gems.
Lastly, I’m very passionate about working out. While I don’t think anyone truly enjoys the grind, I believe in the mental strength it builds staying consistent, disciplined, and pushing myself every day to become the best version of myself.
Simwood has been an awesome place for me to grow, both in my career and as a person. I’m really excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
