We’ve offered a basic fax-to-email service across all our number ranges for many years now but it has always been pretty, well, basic!
From today, we offer an enhanced service which can be configured on any of our UK numbers via our API or by contacting us. Existing numbers remain unchanged unless specifically re-configured.
Delivery to email remains the default option although the attachment format has changed from TIFF to PDF, along with other more subtle changes, all to improve usability.
Additionally, received faxes can now be delivered to your own system by HTTP POST. This will enable re-mailing under your own branding, archiving, or other automated processing.
There are no additional charges for this service in either mode.
