Just like in years past, Simwood’s porting desk will be here for you throughout the festive season – well, except on the bank holidays, of course. While our team takes some well-deserved time off with their loved ones on those days, our new import automation will still be hard at work 24x7x365.
We have done our best to ensure that the automation takes into account the different opening times published by each Communication Provider (CP). Due to the complexities of different providers closing over different days, or part-days, lead times may need to be extended. We would advise that where possible, porting requests be submitted with a few extra days lead-time or pushed back to January.
We’ll also be keeping an eye on things to avoid submitting requests on days when we think a provider might only be open for a half-day. As you probably know by now, porting isn’t always an exact science, and we want to make sure there’s enough time in the day to sort out any hiccups if they arise.
