It’s nearly Christmas and as with previous years, Simwood’s porting desk will be staying open throughout the holidays with the exception of the bank holidays. As other providers have varying porting freezes, we’ll do our best to take this into account across our porting automation but we would still recommend that where possible ports submitted have a couple of extra days of lead time added or even set back to January.
As you’ll have hopefully seen from previous blogs on the subject, we’ve brought online a number of porting automations that have greatly sped up the process, particularly where other providers have done similar work, freeing up our excellent port team to spend more time focussing on those complicated or difficult ports where a human touch, (or human perseverance!) is needed. In turn many of you will be benefiting from the discounts applied to ports where they are automated from start to end. This automation will be running throughout the Christmas period.
