Charles’s development elves have been really busy bringing new features and enhancements to our Hosted and Hybrid customers.
Last week, as promised, we dropped massive updates to VertiCall for both iOS and Android. If you are looking for a highly secure, battery efficient, and rebrandable mobile app, I’m pretty confident there isn’t a better option for you than VertiCall.
Separately, Hosted customers will soon have access to our new VertiCall Desktop client from their Manager interface. This will be available for both Windows and macOS and brings together the security and efficiency of our browser-based soft client, Communicator, with the convenience of having an application running permanently on the desktop.
Another benefit of having a native app on the desktop is the ability for it to act as a transport for more interesting things. First up here is our CRM integration, or more specifically our integration with 364 CRMs. VertiCall Desktop will act as a bridge between a given PBX user and a given CRM user, enabling exciting features such as activity logging and screen pops. The full list of supported CRMs can be seen at integrations.simwood.com and the functionality is enabled by means of a new addon aptly named VertiCall CRM, available for testing by those registered on our beta program next week. If you are not a member of our beta program, you can join here. If you are, we’d ask that you drop us an email letting us know which customer account ID you would like to test the VertiCall CRM addon with.
We hope you like these updates and really look forward to any feedback.
