Those of you that are regular readers of this blog will know that we love all aspects of the Open Source community.
Last year saw a new entrant into the telecoms conference event space – ‘CommCon’
CommCon had a fresh new take on how a conference should be run. It’s a residential event where you’re intimately close with all the attendees: eating together, drinking together, doing evening activities together, and learning together. It’s a great conference to meet like-minded people in the VoIP or WebRTC space. Simwood proudly sponsored this event and have committed to doing so for a second year running.
This year, as we’ve got two speakers, Kathleen and I, we have ended up with three extra tickets which retail at £1,699 each. Simwood is offering these tickets to three lucky people or businesses who match the entry criteria below.

We will draw the winning entry the following week.
Nimble Ape has kindly offered a further two tickets to give away and would happily pool them with our three to extend the total prize to five tickets with value totalling a tremendous £8,495.

The promoter of this competition is Simwood eSMS Limited (“Simwood”) whose registered office is at Simwood House, Old Gloucester Road, Bristol, SB16 1FX.
The competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or over except employees of Simwood, their close relatives, or anyone closely connected with the competition. No purchase is necessary to enter. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. All entries must be received by 0001 (GMT) on 7th June 2019. After this date, no further entries will be permitted. No responsibility is accepted for entries not received for any reason whatsoever.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control. The prize is as stated and no alternative is offered. Prizes are not transferrable and are subject to availability.
Winners will be notified by eMail within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner does not respond within 14 days of notification we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and select a new winner.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner agrees to the use of the content of their entry, and his/her name and image in any publicity material.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
